One of my friends who came to the original ‘Cake Decorating Day’ has since used the skills she learnt to make a couple of cakes for friends. She is currently making a cake for a friends baby shower and I went over the other day to help her make some of the decorations.
The request for the cake was to have decorations such as a bottle, footprints, booties and a dummy. We managed to find a pattern for some little baby Mary-Janes that we used, and I made up a pattern for the baby converse from a picture we found. They turned out pretty well, don’t you think? My decorations were the pink ones, and my friends were the multi coloured ones.
